In addition, he is the creator and the director of the Global Leadership Africa Summit (formerly Leadership Africa Summit) the #1 gathering of global young professional African leaders, entrepreneurs, people who cherish Africa and value diversity.
With a passion of enhancing and impacting the lives of others, Marco is the founder and president of The League for African Advancement, Inc., serves on the board on the board of the Midlands African Chamber of Commerce, the Hidden Talent Foundation and volunteers for other organizations.
Marco has been featured on the Metro Magazine, as very inspiring person is a 2019 Midlands Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree and Metropolitan Community College’s 2021 Distinguished Awardee.

Cobalt Credit UnionAssan Manney is originally from Gambia, West Africa, and has been working in Banking and Management for the last 10 years. Assan graduated from the University of Nebraska Kearney with a degree in Business Economics in 2009 and is pursuing a master’s degree in International Management. He is currently the Vice President of Operations at Cobalt Credit Union and previously held positions as Sr. Financial Service Specialist and Branch Manager.
He is Council Member of the Greater Chamber Omaha Chamber YP Council, Nebraska Gambians, and West Omaha Chamber. He is also a mentor and a coach. Assan is married and has three girls and a foster kid. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his kids, wife, and love to volunteer.

Associate State Director for the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC)Aretha Boex is the Associate State Director for the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC). She provides primary direction, guidance and leadership for NBDC’s Small Business Development program and oversees the operational activities of seven centers across Nebraska. Aretha has extensive experience in small business consulting, process improvement, program management and financial management. She is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute, a certified Economic Development Finance Professional through the National Development Council and a Certified Global Business Professional through Nasbite International. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer CenterBeverly is originally from Cameroon and Sao Tome et Principe. She has an Associate Degree in Library & Information Science, Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary studies (Business, Healthcare and Sociology). She is currently wrapping up a Master’s degree in Public Administration and is heavily interested and invested in Public Policy. Areas like immigration, foreign affairs, economic affairs (budgets and taxes) really interest her.
Professionally, Beverly possesses expertise in project management and strategic planning with focus in community outreach and engagement (COE). She manages projects for the Buffet Cancer Center COE with goals to reduce the cancer burden in the State of NE as well as education of underserved populations on the cancer related risks and resources available to them. She co-hosts “the travel girls podcast” to highlight locations, tips and educate people on the importance of traveling. Beverly is also launching a few initiatives with her siblings in Cameroon. In addition, Beverly consults with startups, enhancing organizational culture, business and strategic plan development as an independent contractor.
Beverly is always volunteering during her free time and her passion is women empowerment without disempowering men. She has a gift to draw out the best in people and encourage them to live up to their full potential.
